Fire and Story
Motion Design
With my project partner, Hadden Young, we had the opportunity to design a motion piece to be projected and showcased as part of Paper Whale's annual Fire & Story festival in Bellingham, WA. The goals we set for this brief were to design around storytelling with a focus on folklore, light, and spirits.

To complement the Fire & Story festival’s theme of folklore and light, we took inspiration from the Scandinavian legend of the firefox—a mythical spirit believed to create the northern lights with sparks of fire and traces of magic.
